The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter SDI Multiplex will let you convert in various ways between Quad Link, Dual Link and Single Link SDI, with a pen-tip operable built-in mini-switch (with a conversion chart) on the back of the converter there to help you do so efficiently and conveniently. (An included software can be used alternative to the mini-switch.)
The converter has 4 3G-SDI inputs and 4 3G-SDI outputs, so you can convert in both directions. The conversion options you get are:
Dual Link 4K 3G to Quad Link 4K 1.5G
Quad Link 4K 1.5G to Dual Link 4K 3G
Dual Link 4:4:4 1.5G to Single Link 4:4:4 3G
Single Link 4:4:4 3G to Dual Link 4:4:4 1.5G
All the connectors are of the highest quality and feature low jitter processing and cable length reclocking that would let you use the longest SDI cables available without losing on image quality. The Converter also has a tie down loop to tightly secure cables to.

Easy Settings Control
Changing the converter's built-in mini switch settings is as easy as using a pen -- just touch the tip of any pen to the switch contacts. This is great when you need to change settings quickly as there are no complicated menus to navigate. You can also control settings using the included Converter Utility software. You can connect the converter to any Mac OS X or Windows based laptop or desktop computer. And you can update software via USB 2.0 by simply downloading software upgrades directly from the Blackmagic Design website.
